Not sure where to start? That is a completely normal place to begin, and it is a conversation rather than a sales appointment.
The survey is 30–45 minutes and costs nothing
We visit your home (or site), check your roof space, electrical setup, and talk through your energy use. It usually takes 30–45 minutes. After that, we’ll send you a clear, no-pressure quote.
No menu, no hold music, nobody reading a script at you.
What we’re actually looking at
Roof pitch, orientation and shading through the day. The state of the covering — there is no sense putting a 25-year array on a roof with five years left in it. Your consumer unit, your incoming supply, and where a battery could live.
And how you use the place: at home during the day, out until six, an EV on the drive, a hot tub nobody mentions until we ask.
An honest answer, including “not yet”
Sometimes the right advice is a smaller array. Sometimes it is to fix the roof first. Occasionally it is that the payback does not stack up on your usage, and we would rather tell you that than sell you something.
What it looks like when we’re there
Our own photographs. They show the systems we design and fit — not specific completed jobs, and no customer or address is identified.
What actually happens at a free solar survey
Thirty to forty-five minutes, a look at your roof and your fuse board, and a quote afterwards. No pressure, and sometimes the answer is no.
