All-black solar panels on a red-tiled West Sussex roof

What we do all day

Seven ways we put Sussex sunshine to work

Surveyed properly, booked in honestly, and finished to the standard we’d want on our own roofs. Seven things on this list — houses and businesses, on the roof and inside the building — and we’d rather do seven well than thirty badly.

The same five steps, whichever one you pick

What happens after you get in touch.

It runs the same way for a full array as it does for a single socket. You will know who is coming, when, and what it costs before anybody gets on a roof. Work for a business carries more process than this, and that is set out on its own page.

1

Free survey

We visit your home, check your roof space and electrical setup, and talk through your energy use. It usually takes 30–45 minutes.

2

Design & clear quote

A design and a clear, no-pressure quote, written in English. Every assumption it rests on is shown.

3

Neat install

Dust sheets down, radio kept sensible. Most domestic systems are installed in 1–2 days.

4

Commission & paperwork

We do the MCS certificate and the DNO application. You do nothing at all.

5

Switch on & monitor

It goes live, and you get quietly obsessed with the app. Everybody does.

Certified, registered, accountable

The paperwork behind the work

Every array we fit is MCS certified, every circuit we touch is NICEIC Approved Contractor work, and we’re signed up to the Renewable Energy Consumer Code. It matters most on the day something needs sorting out. One of the badges below is a maker that has approved us as an installer — which is not the same thing as the lines we fit, and we keep the two apart. If it’s cost, savings or timings you’re weighing up, those are answered here, and the work itself is photographed here.

The next step

Book your free survey

Thirty to forty-five minutes, at your house, at no cost. We look at the roof, the fuse board and how you actually use the place — then send you a clear quote with the assumptions shown.

If solar genuinely won’t pay for itself on your usage, we’ll say so and save us both an afternoon.

Rather see the numbers before you speak to anybody? Put your own bill on the house — it works out the size, the saving and the payback while you watch, and brings them down to this form with you.

Phone or email — whichever you'd rather we used.

So we can tell you straight away if you're in our patch.
